I asked Natalie if I could take her picture. She said, "Dang it! I don't want my picture on the WEB! Looking like THIS!" Yet, she dutifully came over and let me take the shots I wanted. What a good daughter.
I feel bad for her. Her headache is gone (she ALWAYS gets a bad headache when she has a fever,) and her fever is gone, but she itches so badly. She also doesn't feel much like eating. Those who know Natalie will know that this is WAY off for her.
She's eating a bit, though, and she's taking Aveeno baths and Benadryl and not complaining too much. She's just so sad and mopey. Is mopey a word? If you're a mother, you'll agree that it is. She just sits, with her head resting on her hand, looking so damn miserable.
The worst part is, she isn't done breaking out yet. I still see new ones that weren't there this morning. It's going to be a long week, my dearest baby girl. A long week indeed.

bless her heart! I feel for her and you! I remmeber when my three were little and had chickenpox. My oldest son had one on his back and my mother in law thought it was a pimple and proceeded to mash the shit out of it!!!!! The next day his baody was covered even on his eyeballs!!!! The best hing I found for them was that carbonated (I think that is what it is called) vaseline, the vaseline in a brown jar!!! I put some on a Q-tip and placed it on the bigger bumps. Hope she gets well quick!!!
AWwwwwww. Natalie....I'm sorry. Hope they don't itch as much as my chiggers. Two and 1/2 weeks going. LOL Hang in there Natalie!!! Won't we all get shingles when we get older b/c this virus is in our system? I keep hearing that!

Awww, poor girl. I feel for her, I do! What a good girl for taking the pictures. :)
On the upside, at least she is out of school now..now after Kevin has gone back to work.

When my son had them, we had about 3-4 really rough days. Good luck!
