It got down to 47 last night. WOOOHOOO! Kevin actually shut the bedroom windows at some point. This sure beats the heck out of running the a/c or waking up sweating. Yuck.
We took the girls to the high school football game, and watched our beloved Tigers win. We're really on a roll around here...2/2 so far. It's fun to watch small town football, but it's just as much fun to watch the fans in the stands. There are many cool things that happen here that probably don't happen in bigger cities.
For instance, our high school principal isn't afraid to tell the kids who are wrestling around instead of watching the game, "GET OVER THERE AND GRAB A SEAT, NOW!"...and they listen to him. Even the grade school principal made sure that kids were where they should be...watching the game.
The girls enjoyed seeing friends there, and Kevin even bought a chili pie for me. I think we'll be doing that more often. It's pretty cheap family entertainment.
Today is going to be pretty laid back. Monica has a birthday party to attend this afternoon, and I hope to see my parents at some point this weekend. Maybe it's too cool to ride their motorcycle? Nahhh, they have leathers, so they'll probably be gone.

Ryan went to her cousins football game two nights ago. Unlike your team, our team is not doing so hot. :-X She said "I got nachos for a dollar!!" hee...

I've had some wonderful times at high school football games. And come home with many a hoarse throat. Our team is the Tigers, too! But they got trounced last night. - Barbara
