It was so good to know I had a weekend at home! Add to my excitement the fact that it was to be 80 degrees, and you found some big plans brewin'. We had tilled the flower beds up on Wednesday and Thursday nights, borrowing dad's tiller, and now it was time to get down to work.
This morning finds me sunburned and sore, but it's worth it. One more load of rock, and this place will be in pretty darn good shape. Kevin's Mom, Linda, and our nephew, Steven, came up for a visit. They were a big help, and Linda brought me two rose bushes! Gotta love that.
For dinner, we had Ree's sandwiches. Wonderful stuff. Then we had strawberry shortcake for dessert, thanks to Linda. I was in bed before 9. Yup, the ol' gal is feeling her age. That or I'm fat and out of shape, but lets not go there, so soon after strawberry shortcake, ok? Let's just blame the age.

Hi there. We are supposed to do some planting today. I am just planting in planters for now. I enjoyed your pictures. I know you were glad to have a weekend home. I was too. LOL.

It's too windy to do anything outside here in Kansas... go figure! I am so jealous. Great pictures. Looks like you had a lot of good help and got a lot done.
